MASTERY OF MATH (MOM) 4-12
Effective online one-on-one data-driven program designed to reinforce 4th to 12th graders current math skills and jumpstart them on their upcoming math units and curricula. Lyceum instructors utilize students’ classwork, homework, and weekly diagnostic examinations to individualize online math tutoring instruction to their needs—remediation, reinforcement, staying ahead of grade level, training for competitions, and so on. Mastery of Math (MOM) emphasizes students’ ability to use appropriate mathematical language to explain the reasoning used to solve their problems. The specific topics covered can be aligned to state standards and, if accessible, the student’s school’s math curriculum.

“My son started Lyceum tutoring at the end of 3rd grade. My son was always weak in language art. At first, I was a little concerned that our tutor is too advanced for him because he teaches older students. The question I kept thinking to myself was, can he really teach a 9-year-old for a session that is one hour long? At the time, my son gets distracted easily and can not focus for more than 30 minutes.
